The net.America Corporation is currently seeking Test Engineer for the Washington, DC Metropolitan area.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

This position requires expertise in large scale system test engineering. This position also requires experience in testing systems, software, network and hardware architectures, creation and execution of automated test cases, as well as full life cycle responsibilities, including testing requirements, design, software, etc. in large scale environments and related matters. In addition, this position requires strong communication and writing skills

Job Duty 1 – Large Scale System Test Engineering – 10%

Job Duty 2 – Use Case, Test Case and Test Specification Preparation and Execution – 30%

Job Duty 3 – Test Plan and Test Result Documentation – 30%

Job Duty 4 – Automated Test Case Development and Execution – 20%

Job Duty 5 – Full SELC/SLC Life Cycle Activities – 10%

Required (with years of experience needed):

• System Lifecycle Development (SELC/SLC) familiarity
• ISO 9000, CMM/CMMI and/or ITIL familiarity
• Test Engineering experience in Federal procurements (4-8 years)
• Use Case creation, test case creation, testing documentation development (4-8 years)
• Rational Test Manager experience (preferred)
• Automated test script generation experience (1+ years)
• Performance test script generation experience (1+ years preferred)
• Systems and Applications testing (3 yrs)
• Mercury Testing Tools

 

Preferred (with years of experience needed):

• Java
• SQL
• 508 Compliance Testing
• Consulting (CRM or similar)-2yrs

 

Understanding of:

• Requirement with Requisite Pro
• REQM

 

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Required:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science,/Engineering (or related discipline) and 5+ years of experience

Other education/ or equivalent engineering experience may be accepted
