The net.America Corporation is currently seeking Functional Analysts for the Washington, DC Metropolitan area.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

This position requires expertise in large scale software engineering. Analyzes customer/mission needs to determine functional requirements. Performs functional analysis to identify required tasks and their interrelationships. Identifies resources required. Possesses requisite knowledge and expertise in the requirements field. Works with engineers on systems integration.

Job Duty 1 – Write use cases, requirements and test scenarios in conjunction with the government client – 20%

Job Duty 2 – Facilitate meetings with the government client to prioritize and validate stated requirements – 20%

Job Duty 3 – Coordinate with the developers to ensure requirements are understood – 20%

Job Duty 4 – Use case and Test case – 20%

Job Duty 5 – Application testing against test cases – 20%

Required (with years of experience needed):

• System Lifecycle Development (SELC/SLC) familiarity
• ISO 9000, CMM/CMMI and/or ITIL familiarity
• Experience in Federal procurements (4-8 years)
• 1+ yrs use case writing, requirement analysis, and test case writing
• 1+ yrs Requirements and business process experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Must be able to work independently with little guidance and supervision

 

Preferred (with years of experience needed):

• Java
• SQL
• 508 Compliance Testing
• Consulting (CRM or similar)-2yrs

 

Understanding of:

• Requirement with Requisite Pro
• REQM
• 1+ yrs Requirement with Requisite Pro
• 1+ yrs Use case with Rational
• 1+ yrs Application development experience

 

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Required:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science,/Engineering (or related discipline) and 5+ years of experience

Other education/ or equivalent engineering experience may be accepted
